The season at the Drina-Tara Rafting Center is officially open! We expect the first large groups of guests, our dear friends from all the countries of the region, and even the world, already in the middle of March. And this year, for those with the greatest desire for adrenaline, we are organizing Easter and May Day rafting. Spring rafting on the Tara River is an unforgettable adrenaline adventure! When the snow melts from Durmitor and the surrounding mountains, they raise the level of Tara and Drina to the maximum, and our guests - rafters, ride on waves several meters high. An unrepeatable experience and a day to be remembered for a lifetime.
In addition to these challenges, for our friends who prefer a more peaceful option, we organize nature trips, hiking, and staying in our rafting center is a special pleasure. The best accommodation when it comes to rafting on Tara
Our entire complex of bungalows is located on the very bank of the river, with a boat dock in the central part of the camp, which is a perfect position for all rafting tours and all our other activities in nature. This year, renewed accommodation facilities, new LUX bungalows and apartments, renovated terrace, but we will also save something as a surprise. All the needs for a modern man are there. Isolated from everything, yet in the center of everything!

And only the kitchen! Forget about dieting here. In addition to traditional dishes prepared in the old way, under the stove and in ovens that no longer exist, there are also new specialties. "It's better to eat in clean air", says the proverb, and we say "The best food is here, and the air is clean too!" We haven't forgotten vegans and vegetarians, as well as our guests who eat gluten-free food, simply, we have everything for everyone!
And the serving of food is special, on long wages, without special portions, we eat like a feast!
A special way of serving breathtaking meals, with traditional specialties from this region, are a real challenge for primitive Germans and lovers of a good bite.
This season we are putting an even stronger emphasis on food quality
Throughout the winter, we prepared homemade ham, bacon, homemade dry goat meat and sheep litter, homemade sausages and top quality kulen. All of this guarantees the enjoyment of traditional cuisine that you cannot experience anywhere else. Every morning, fresh young lambs are delivered from the mountain villages, we buy domestic pigs from the hosts, fed with healthy natural food, beef, veal, old crust/cream, cheeses...
The best time is rafting!
Evening entertainment in our rafting center is, according to our guests, one of the best in the region. After rafting, excursions, riding quad bikes, walking in nature... in the evening, parties await you, better than any you've been to. Sometimes the best regional stars are guests, and sometimes, at the request of the guests, we set up a more intimate atmosphere, for socializing by the fire and light music. New friendships are made there, which only get stronger every year. The entire Drina-Tara Rafting Center complex is located on the very bank of the river, so the murmur of the water fits perfectly into the ambiance of the camp.
The restaurant is on three levels, with large terraces overlooking the river. These terraces above the water itself are already a recognizable landmark in the region, as a place where the best parties take place. And we are preparing many surprises for our guests in the new rafting season 2023 in the restaurant and on our terraces above the river.
We never miss an opportunity to mention that the weekend arrangements (Friday and Saturday night) are more suitable for our guests who want to have a good time at evening parties with live music, and that the arrangements on other (working) days with a quieter atmosphere in the evening are perfect for those who want to enjoy a vacation in nature, by the river. That certainly does not mean that there is no music in the evenings in our restaurant and on our terraces on other days as well. :)
For the new season, we also bought a large amount of top-quality equipment for rafting, for all weather conditions. All equipment is made according to European standards. Our guests can use the complete equipment completely free of charge.
